Hello! My name is Jasmine Yang. I am a 4th grade student at the elementary school of HuaZhong normal university in Wuhan. My hobbies are reading, listening to music, drawing, playing sports and many more.

I think I am a unique girl. I went to America when I was five and came back when I was ten years old. I like to speak English very much and like to read English books too. I read so many books that now I can read faster than my mom, a college English teacher.

I am very independent. I wake up early and have breakfast on my own. I eat lunch at the cafeteria by myself and walk to my dad’s office to take a nap. I always tell myself that I am a big girl now, and I don’t need my parents to do everything for me. I feel like a grownup when I do things myself.

I am a movie fan too. When I learn that a new movie is released in the theater, I’ll be the first one to see it. Please don’t bother me when I am watching a movie, because I will be screaming at you and losing control before you can say “sorry”. That’s how crazy I am about movies.

I have many friends at school and the teachers like me. Not like a lot of other people, I think it is very easy to make friends. You just have to be brave enough to talk to your classmates and invite them to play with you. I am very proud to say that I am one the girls that have the most friends in class.

On the other hand, I am sometimes careless. I’ve probably lost four or five jackets in school because I forgot to pick them up after I took them off at the beginning of PE class. I always come out of the gym, sweating and out of breath. I run to the fountain to drink water before I go to the next class. What I don’t know is that I’ve left my poor jacket in the dirty and smelly “Lost and Found” basket.

I am sometimes timid too. I have stage fright and don’t dare to talk to a teacher in private.

This is me ---- Jasmine, an independent, friendly, but timid and careless girl. She is not perfect, but she is unique and tries hard to be her best.
