Good morning, dear classmates and teachers.

It’s my first time to deliver a speech here, the first speech in 2014 but the last of this term. It means today is the beginning of the new year as well as the ending of this term.

Surely, many people question the primary factor of a successful life. In order to answer that question, it requires both personal experience and outside resources from someone successful as well. Throughout the history, there were historic figures whose inventions brought the human race into new eras; there were also those who dedicated their life span for improving human rights throughout the entire world. More likely, the ones that were successful throughout their journey would barely end up failing because they had such wonderful beginnings. A well beginning not only means the next step has already been well prepared. A well beginning is the fundamental of what ever the person is trying to process. The best example for this would be the foundation of any skyscrapers. Without a perfect foundation, it is impossible to build anything like that.

Personally speaking, I think personal experience is what matters the most throughout the process, especially in the beginning. If the person's own experience is adequate, the following procedures can be solved easily.

Think about what you have done! Stay in bed until 10 or stop to wait for others to go beyond you? Enjoy your delicious breakfast or hold a cup of coffee for an hour? Keep playing computer games or read some useless and meaningless books? All the above should be got rid of. Instead, we must plan our time and our life, keep fighting for it and try our best to realize it.

Bravely face the new day, make sure that every day is valuable.

Carefully face the new week, do not let any mistake live.

Optimistically face the new month, keep smiling to everything around you.

Do your best to face the new year, because failures and successes are in the past. You are now nothing different from others.

Actively face the new life, nothing is impossible if you start now! Then you will achieve an ideal life.

A thousand-mile journey begins with the first step. It is the time to take action, let's make a greater progress. Come on!
