Dear John,

I haven’t seen you for weeks and I miss you very much.

I was very happy last weekend. Do you know why? Because my parents took me to Beijing, I heard that Beijing is the capital of the People's Republic of China. Beijing is China's second largest city in terms of population, after Shanghai.

First, we went to the Great Wall. Wow! How stately the Great Wall was! We took so many photos, played there for a while. We had Beijing roast duck for lunch. It was so nice!

I will give you a present. It is a toy. I hope you like it.

I had a happy weekend.

Saturday was a sunny day. In the morning, I went to Shaoxing with my friend. Then we went to Children’s Park. We ate lunch in her room. Saturday afternoon, I visited my grandparents with my mother. I did homework with my sister. In the evening. We watched TV and listened to music. Sunday was a happy day . I was excited. Because my father said：“Let’s fly kites in the park .” So, we flew kites together . Sunday afternoon I cleaned my room and played computer games . In the evening, I went to bed early, because I was very tired, but I was happy on the weekend.

莹：No, I didn’t. Because my mother went to Hong Kong withnot me, so I’m so sad.（埋头哭）　　

东：Don’t be sad. (上前安慰，接着对游梓琪说) What did you do last weekend, duck?　　

游：I went to my grandmother’s house Sunday morning. I visited my grandma. Because it was my grandmother’s birthday . She’s 100 years old now.　　

东：How nice! I wish your grandmother happy birthday. Were you happy?　　

游：Yes, I was. I ate a big cake. Mum……（想象蛋糕作谗样）It was yummy and tasty. 　　

东：Great. What about you, dog? How did you feel?　　

明：I was excited. My mother bought a new computer. I like playing the computer games. 　　

东：Oh, dog. I know you like playing computer games. But don’t play too much.　　

明：OK, Mr. goat.　　

东：And you , lion?　　

昊：I washed the clothes and cleaned the room. I watered the flowers, too. I was a little tired.　　

东：Oh! You were helpful. What did you do last weekend, squirrel ?　　

颖：I went hiking with my family. I bought presents and ate good food. I was happy.　　

东：Oh so happy. You all had a happy weekend.　　

颖：Thank you, Mr. Goat. What did you do last weekend? Did you go hiking?　　

东： No, I didn’t. We went to the museum with a visitor from the forest.　　

全部人（除东，陈）：Wow!

Last week I was so busy! Because I have so many lessons to be on. 

Monday to Friday, I should be in class on Tuesday night, but I Mathematical Olympiad classes.On Friday evening, I'm going to an Englishclass. Came back, nearly nine. I must go to bed. Mustn't do my homework.On Saturday morning, I went to participate in the Olympiad competition. I came back, and quickly do my homework. But to noon, I must have lunch. 

On Sanday morning, I must do my homework. But...The time is too...too short. When I finished my English homework, it was time for lunch, then I mustn't to write the homework. Oh! In the noon. I need to go to sleep. I have to take a nap.

Three in the afternoon I have a class, until six o'clock. When I come back, to write Chinese homework. But I have to have dinner. I'm so hungry! Only in the evening, I can write homework. Antil nine o'clock. 

Oh! No! I was so tired!
