My favorite holiday is Spring Festival. It’s usually in January or February. 

During Spring Festival, people needn’t go to work. They will clean the house, go shopping, visit relatives and friends, have big dinners and so on. 

Last Spring Festival Eve, I visited my relatives and friends in the morning. My parents and I went shopping in the afternoon, and we bought a lot of things. We had a big dinner at grandparents’ home. After dinner, my father and I exploded firecrackers in the garden. They are so beautiful. Then we watched Spring Festival evening party together.

There are a lot of holidays in a year. But my favourite holiday is Spring Festival. It is in January or February .It means a New Year is coming. At Spring Festival, I needn’t go to school, my mother doesn't go to work, but my father still must go to work. Because he is a policeman.

During Spring Festival we always visit our relatives and friends from door to door, we say " Happy New Year" to each other. And we have a big lunch with friends. The happiest thing is that the family get together to watch the Spring Festival evening party.

Last Spring Festival. Father, mother and I went to our hometown ---Anhui , they gave me the New Year's money and many presents, We also visited the "Bao Gongci". I was very happy and excited .

Christmas is children’s favourite holiday. Because they think Santa Claus will come to their rooms and give them some presents on Christmas Eve. I get the presents every Christmas Eve.Now, I know Santa Claus is my father or mother. I am moved. When I grow up, I will give a lot of presents to them.
