Life Is Simple Not Easy——皮皮作文网

“Life is simple, not easy.”

This line was the title of an album by Danish singer Soren Bregendal.

After seeing this I had a serious thought. What exactly does it mean? Life is simple, which means it’s not complicated or involved, so why would it be “not easy”?

Then I finally understood. Life is simple, so it’s not complicated, it’s not difficult and requires little considering. We don’t have to think too much to make choices in our lives, just simply do what we believe is right and stick with it. Life is not easy, so we can’t live it effortless, and we will never be completely free from work, worry and anxiety in our lives.

Isn’t it interesting?

Some people strive for balance in their lives. They care about too much, and they are always trying to find a subtle balance so that they can have the best job, salary, friends, family and hobbies at the same time. They always think too much and always focus on how to make everybody around them satisfied or how to live the richest and “best” life among their friends. They have so little time to think about happiness and themselves. They have no idea how to find true happiness and enjoy their lives as much as they could. To them I say, life is simple.

Some people, on the other hand, is quite the opposite. They never care about how to improve their lives, they never hope to make a change for the better. All they think about is, God will take care of me, my mom will let me stay with her if I can’t find a job, my friend will let me copy her paper if I don’t prepare for the exam. They are always letting fate control them, but they never think of being the master of their own destiny. They have no idea what they’re going to do the next year, the next day, or even the next minute. They just keep waiting for someone to tell them what to do and push them around. To them I say, life is not easy.

Life is more simple than you think. However, life is not so easy as you think. What the future brings is something you’ll never know. All you can do is follow your heart, do what you like and like what you do. And every time you feel depressed or conceited, please remember to tell yourself: Life is simple, not easy.
