Spring Festival is the most important festival in China. We also call it “Chinese New Year”. It usually comes in January or February. During this festival, people are very busy and happy. Before the Spring Festival, we always buy many delicious food and beautiful clothes. And we make some dumplings and tangyuan too. My parents also clean the house and decorate the house with red things because red means good luck.

On Chinese New Year’s Eve, the whole family always have a big dinner. There is always a dish of fish, a dish of Danjiao...After that, our parents usually give us red packets and then we watch Spring Festival Gala together. The next coming days, we often visit our relatives and friends and say “Happy Chinese New Year” to them. we play, sing and dance. We are very happy during these days.
