My hometown is Maoming.

When I was little, I lived there with my family. At that time, it was only a small place. It had blue sky , green grassland, red flowers and a river. I caught butterflies there in spring and I ate watermelon under the tree in summer. In autumn, my friends and I played games in the fields. But in winter I sometimes ate ice creams because it was warm all the year round in my hometown.

Today it is a big city now. Many people go there to find a job. More and more people visit Maoming, too. Because it has fresh air and beautiful view. There is a first beach in China. People like to go there for holidays. There are some yummy fruits too, like litchis（荔枝） and longans(龙眼).
