Dad is home today.
爸爸今天在家。
I will help my dad do things.
我会帮爸爸做些事。
“Wake up, Dad,” I say.
“爸爸，起床，”我说。
“We have work to do.”
“我们有活要干。”
Dad is sleepy,
爸爸太困了很想睡觉，
I make breakfast for him all by myself.
于是我亲自煮早餐给爸爸吃。
I am helping Dad.
我正在帮我爸爸。
I cut the grass.
我剪草。
Oops! The mower got away!
糟了！铲草机跑了！
“Sorry, Dad,” I say.
“对不起，爸爸，“ 我说。
I wash the car, just for Dad.
我为爸爸洗车，是专门为他洗车哦。
Who left the windows open?
可谁把车窗打开了？
I can paint.
我还会粉刷墙面。
But Dad has to finish.
但是爸爸不得不帮我完成
I see a bees' nest.
我看到一个蜜蜂窝。
“I will fix it, Dad,” I call.
“我来处理，爸爸，” 我叫到。
Dad is yelling something.
爸爸大声呼叫着。
“Run!” Dad yells. “Run!”
“快跑！”爸爸呼叫。“跑！”
I run fast.

We go to town, just Dad and me.

We buy gas.

I say, “Dad, I can pump gas.”

Dad pumps the gas.

We go to the store.

I get stuff for dad.

“Too much, Dad?” I ask.
“买太多了吗，爸爸？” 我问。
Dad needs a new hammer.

“This hammer really works!

Sorry about the nails,” I say.

We get a parking ticket.

Dad does not look happy.

Dad says，“I am not mad, just not happy.”

I say, “that’s fair, Dad.”

We go home.

Mom says.“The toilet is broken.”

“I will fix it,” I say.

I can’t fix it. I call Dad.

I forgot to turn off the hose.
我忘了拧紧水管。
I say, “That’s okay, Dad.
我说，“不要紧的，爸爸，
Grass loves water!”
草喜欢水！”
We have dinner.
我们吃了晚餐，
Then Dad and I watch a movie.
然后爸爸和我看了部电影。
Dad is tired.
爸爸已经累坏了。
It’s time to sleep.

Dad tucks me in.

“Did I help you, Dad?” I ask.

Dad says,“Yes, you did. Thank you.”
